How to Sign "Give" in American Sign Language (ASL)
ASL shows "give" by moving both hands forward with palms up, reaching toward the person you're talking to. Your stronger hand goes on top of your other hand, and they move together in a simple motion. This movement looks just like how you would actually hand something over to another person in real life. You can point the sign in different directions to show who is doing the giving. The sign for "give" comes up a lot when people talk in ASL, and you can mix it with other signs to say things like "give me" or "give you." It's an easy sign to learn because it looks so much like what it means.
