In ASL, the letter 'H' is made by holding out your first two fingers side by side. Your other fingers stay closed in a fist while your palm faces to the side, and those two straight fingers point sideways like they're pointing at something far away. This shape shows up in many ASL signs, like when you want to say "HELP" or "HOSPITAL." When spelling words in ASL, people use this 'H' shape all the time for names and special words.
